2025 Pinto Summer House League

Pinto Summer League 

The objective of the Pinto Summer House League is to help rising 2nd & 3rd graders further develop their baseball skills while at the same time increasing their understanding of the rules of the game.

In response to parent feedback, WBA is offering two options for summer baseball that we hope will meet everyone’s needs. 

FOR RISING 3rd GRADERS (current 2nd graders) who are interested in a more competitive format. 

 WBA will enter teams in the CSYBA Finch league. Families can expect approximately two games a week played on the beautiful fields of Wilmette and throughout the North Shore. This will be a competitive league with the understanding that kids and families have other commitments. 

Teams will be coached by parent volunteers (as in Spring House league).

We will make every effort to accommodate friend requests. 

Dates:
Regular Season: late June through end of July

Championship Tournament: late July with late rounds in early August

Fee:
$225 (includes a jersey & hat)

For players interested in a more instruction focused summer program.

For rising 2nd and 3rd graders (current 1st and 2nd graders) that would like to focus their summer on honing their fundamental baseball skills WBA is offering a combination program of skill and games. The program will run on two weekdays. 

Every week each team will have 90min of skills clinics. Clinics will be led by senior level IBA coaches assisted by parent volunteers and will focus on developing fundamental skills with the goal of giving young players confidence to enjoy playing baseball.

In addition to the skills clinics, there will be a weekly game. Pinto rules will be modified to meet the skill level of the players. 

Friend requests are welcome, and WBA will do their best to accommodate.
